Offering the world a little peek into my psyche. It's still not too late to run.

All right! That's enough you two! *glares darkly at the two saiya-jin* Boys.
Anyway, welcome to my blog, I am Murasaki Rose aka: Jeanne, and the picture to the right is obviously an anime version of myself, drawn by yours truly.
Here you'll find the random ramblings and insights of a slightly obsessive Yu-Gi-Oh/DBZ fangirl.

Rotten Bastards
So a couple months ago, I finally subscribed to Shonen Jump(I'd just been buying my issues at the store before). They were offering a free Obelisk God Card if you subscribed and that's the only one I'm missing so . . . Anywho, the first issue arrives with the phrase "Ride-along included" printed under my address. At this point I was quite excited, thinking they had slipped my God card inside. As soon as I picked it up, I noticed something was wrong. The seal that runs down the center of the magazine had a hand-sized hole in it. Not an accidental rip, a deliberate hole. Upon further inspection, I found another hole the same size, in the bottom seal. Worse, when I reached in the hole myself, I found that all the magazine inserts had been removed. Someone had stolen everything but the magazine! *snarls*
I immediately called Shonen Jump to ask about the problem. They weren't sure if my card was shipped with the magazine, so they put in a re-order for me just in case. Which is cool for me. ^_^ Sadly, the lady I talked to didn't sound the least bit surprised, which leads me to believe that this happens a lot. However, I worry that my future issues may be similarly vandalized. I know many of them come with free promo cards/cds and would be quite pissed to have them stolen. I did contact the post office, but I don't know how they'll go about fixing things. I mean, what exactly can they do? Are my future issues safe or not? I did get the September issue safe and fully sealed. However, it didn't have the same "Ride-along Included" label nor did it come with any other promo. This whole situation is exactly why I didn't want to subscribe in the first place. I don't want to have to be constantly worrying over the safety of my purchases. >_<
